While researching websites and other golf books for the upcoming guide to Isaan golf I continue to be amazed at the trash on the internet.
Not only the small time scams and idiocy, but sites like the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thai News Agency put out tonnes of misinformation, broken links and errors. Then there is the Isaan Hoteel site that lists NO Isaan hotels and a golf site that inflates a golf course's prices. And no matter where I look there are dozens of sites advertising Thai wives.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand the Candle Festival in Ubon goes on for a full month, while in fact it lasts a few days.

As far as the existing golf books go, if you are interested in golf in Isaan don't waste your money. They are incomplete, often incorrect and not very helpful.
This golf course in Yasothon is mislocated by about 40k in one of the best book available today.
